Newcastle University is delighted to announce a new Newcastle University Business School Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship intended to foster an interest and build skills in innovation, enterprise and entrepreneurship.

This scholarship is available to one postgraduate UK/EU student each year and we are now accepting applications from students planning to start their studies in September 2010. The scholarship will have a value of £1,500, payable towards tuition fees in the first instance.

Eligibility
You could be eligible to apply for the Enterprise and Innovation Scholarship if:

  • you have been offered a place on the MSc in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship or the MA in Arts, Business and Creativity
  • you have been assessed as UK/EU for fees purposes, and are wholly or partially self-financing
  • you intend to register to start your studies during the 2010-11 academic year.

How to apply
You must have already applied for and been offered a place to study on the MSc in Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship or the MA in Arts, Business and Creativity at Newcastle University Business School.

The award is offered on a merit basis and applications are to be made in writing on the application form and submitted electronically to nubs@ncl.ac.uk.

One student per annum shall be chosen according to evidence of academic ability, energy and commitment to studies, financial circumstances and quality of application.

Deadline for Applications: 21st May each year

Applicants will be notified by the end of June each year
