The Medical Sciences Division is pleased to announce that a PhD Fellowship is available for the following 4-Year Wellcome Trust Doctoral Programme:

The four years will comprise a first year common to all students within the programme and a three-year self-directed research project. The first year will include taught modules and laboratory rotations designed to equip students with the knowledge to make an informed choice of doctoral project.

The programme is available for admission in October 2012 and is open to applications from Home/EU and overseas students. Tuition fees will be paid at the Home/EU rate. Overseas candidates are encouraged to apply for other sources of funding to cover the overseas fees – please see www.ox.ac.uk/feesandfunding/search/ for more information. A starting stipend of £19,919 per annum will be provided.
